Eustis Wastewater Treatment Plant

At the Eustis WWTF utilizes two 75,000 gpd upflow sludge blanket filtration (USBF) treatment trains. Each USBF unit consists of an anoxic tank and two aeration basins which were divided by the USBF clarifier. Recent expansion included adding two additional 75,000 gpd USBF units, two microscreen filtration units, and high level disinfection and flow diversion capabilities. The wastewater effluent leaving the plant meets public access reuse treatment criteria and is now used for irrigation purposes for the residential community and local golf course.
